Happy Thanksgiving!

Millions in America come together on that holiday to celebrate family, friends and the good things in live.

Celebrations of Gratitude are very powerful. Science is backing up the health benefits of an attitude of gratitude: it improves sleep, increases self-esteem, increases your energy levels, increases emotional intelligence, lessens depression and anxiety, increases the feeling of being socially connected, and makes you 25% happier. [1]

A simple way to express gratitude is to think of 5 things that you are grateful for every day. You may even choose to keep a gratitude journal. Writing a note of appreciation to a loved one, friend, or co-worker is not only boosting your health but also lifts others as well.

What about the things that seem difficult to be grateful for? Being thankful that it is so and not worse, shifts your energy and let’s you harness the power of gratitude even in challenging times.

Use the power of gratitude daily ;-)

Blessings,
